Hoorn is a historic VOC port city located on the Markermeer. Horn was a city of great significance in the Golden Age, which lasted from about 1600 to 1700. In the historic center of Hoorn, many monuments and works of art remind us of this illustrious time. A guided tour is therefore definitely worth it! You can of course do this entirely on your own, but we recommend that you take a city walk on the basis of a city guide.
