Judging by the large number of food and beverage outlets in Hoorn, Horines love conviviality and good food. Both in luxury restaurants and in simple but cozy cafes. Many restaurants are located in unique monumental buildings. Beautiful restaurants have been set up in the Waag aan de Roode Steen and in the robust Hoofdtoren in the harbor. But many old warehouses and other old buildings today also serve as restaurants, brasseries or cafes.

If you want to sit outside in the summer, you will soon end up at the Roode Steen and if you want to put the flowers outside in the evening, you can stay there or head for the harbor or De Dubbele Buurt, a street where the pubs doors don’t close until the early hours.
